Story of Establishment

Lacivertköy; on the basis of love and understanding, is the story of a road with the desire to do good works, and a place where the dream of creating a sustainable future becomes reality.

 

It has been come to life, when 33 people who have put their hearts, intentions and labor for a sustainable world in the footsteps of prospects for the future united under the roof of “Limited Responsible Sustainable Future Ecological Life and Eco Tourism Development Cooperative”.

 

Lacivertköy, where the idea of natural and ecological life came to life and people produce with peace and joy, was established on May 14, 2019 in Kumköy, which is in the Eceabat district of Çanakkale.

Laciverköy

Lacivertköy; is located on a 65 acre land, kneaded with organic agriculture, in a valley close to the sea, surrounded by pine forests on three sides.

In its land with organic agriculture certificate, there are:

• 300 olives,                            • 300 walnuts,                   

 • 300 vines,                            • 40 almonds, 

• 250 different fruit trees,

• Rosemary, lavender fields and                

• Beekeeping is carried out

• Different types of vegetables in approximately 5 acres,

Nest

Training activities are organized in a 110 square meter bristle tent called a "Nest". Lacivertköy hosts international festivals with a capacity of 200 people with its accommodation facility and individual tents. It offers service opportunities in tourism areas.

Organic Agriculture

Lacivertköy obtained from a variety of vegetables as well as in different regions of Turkey with indigenous seed harvested from his own crop is grown.

 

For this season, corn from the Artvin, Cin and Nilüfer regions, gum pods from Muğla and Hacıosmanlar, peas from Sultani and Yaraş, radishes from Hazelnuts and Yaraş, beets from Imroz, chard from Nilüfer and Bayramiç, and spinach from Karacabey row of onions, cabbage and zucchini varieties, broccoli and cauliflower cultivation.

 

All the product from the previous season; melon, pumpkin, watermelon, zucchini, kidney beans, gum bean, charliston, bristle sweet-bitter, yellow pointed soup chili, cucumber, zucchini, tomato, bell pepper, lettuce, eggplant, chili flower pepper, bitter, three nose peppers (village) Harvested gum squash, corn, kale, cabbage, celery, leek.

 

Tomato paste, molasses, pickles, vinegar, jam, pomegranate syrup, dry legumes were produced with the harvested products and fruits collected from trees.

Story of Establishment

Apis Mellifera Anatolica, living on the village land, sees bee breeds such as Bombus Terrestris, Xylocopa Violacea, Vespula Vulgaris, Andrena Fulva as part of natural diversity. While supporting the sustainability of the living areas of these races, it aims to protect the production of the bees in their own cycles.

On the other hand, with its rich pollinator feature like Bombus Terrestris, it observes and protects wild bees providing plant diversity.

It works to deliver healthy products to people with a sense of production that respects nature essences in a valley that has an organic agriculture certificate among pine forests.
